make it stand out.

When J reached out to me, she had a very clear vision of her wedding aesthetic: timeless and elegant. My job was to make sure that my work fit her aesthetic. After some time brainstorming and discussing, this is what we came up with:

3D welcome sign

J knew she wanted the welcome sign free standing and different. I came up with the idea to have it 3D and two paneled. This welcome sign became a huge hit and is one of the most requested signage til this day.

Smaller signages

For the rest of her smaller signage it just made sense to have the similar design as the welcome sign to make sure everything tied together.

Menu

Menu cards have either two roles in tablescape design: 1) be the main point at the guest seating

2) compliment the main point at the guest seating

For this wedding, the menu needed to compliment the main point, which were the gold plated placecards. To help the placecards stand out, the menu, favor bag, napkin, and table cloth were shades of gray.

Maybe it was the ikebana floral design that set the tone or maybe it was how lovely the couple were to the guests and vendors, whatever it was this wedding will forever live rent free in my mind.
